Okay. Like the other reviews, I'll repeat that it's a pretty neat little market/restaurant type place. But all in all, the food wasn't too great, and the service was a bit on the slow side. The gifts were also priced a bit on the high side aswell. If you're looking for a good Filipino restaurant, you should look at going to Wootz Asian Cuisine on Culebra. Very good food, at very generous prices and portions. The cooks and waitress are all very nice and attentive. Sari-Sari is an alright place, but in my opinion Wootz is much better if you're looking for a true Filipino restaurant, with authentic Filipino dishes. There is also a projector screen with Filipino channels running on them, and I'm not sure but I think they're also working on putting up a second projector.

Good Filipino Food cooked to order!. We searched the internet and found this place. So off we go and found what we considered a large Sari-Sari Store...at least large for Filipino Standards. My wife and I both ordered different dinners and were completely satisfied. The food is very authentic. Service is fast (for filipino Standards). They do take their time as in the Philippines, however, it is NOT Fast Food. Seems like all the dishes are cooked to order and food is also served family style if you wish. The gifts are very pricey, but where are you going to get them here in the states. We have been back twice and will go again.

A pleasant surprise in San Antonio. This place is a combined little market which specializes in Filipino food items and a restaurant serving traditional Filipino dishes and some Chinese dishes. Homesick and missing some of my grandma's comfort food, I decided to try this place out with another Filipina friend. We were both happily surprised and left very full! It's not exactly like home, but pretty darn close!

The restaurant has a full menu of Filipino dishes from Lumpia (egg rolls), to Pinakbet, to Dinaguan, to Crispy Pata, to Pancit Palabok, to Kare Kare, etc. I wanted to order the entire menu! The portions are very large and cheaply priced. Service is a little slow but the wait staff is very sweet and friendly.

They have a rotating daily lunch special that comes with Lumpia, white rice, and Sago (a sweet tapioca pearl drink) for about $5.99.

I'll definitely be making return trips to eat and to do a little grocery shopping!

If You Are Not Rushing This Is The Place To Go. My husband and I had dinner in this place. We sat for at least 15 minutes before the waitress came to render her service. I could tell that she is not really a waitress by the arrogance of her tone and her non verbal cues. Overall the ambience was more of a Chinese Restaurant than Filipino. Food was OK; it was a little greasy I thought, the portion was OK..

Best Filipino food in town!. Of all the Filipino food places that I have 'recon'ed. This one is the best. The service is slow, and the atmoshpere on the sleepy side. But this is absolutly the best Filipino food in this City, bar none!

And this is half restaurant, half market. Go there for the restaurant though.

Filipino food???. There are very few Filipino restaurants here in San Antonio compare in CA but now I know why. The only one that they have here which is Sari-sari is very bad. The food are too salty and the waitress/waiters do not seem to provide a very good service. I ordered a fish and could see the layer of salt on the scale. Filipino food is very good but they seem to screw up in cooking it making it taste completely different from how it is suppose to. I will not visit unless I hear somebody say they have a different cook now....
