DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY
by budster
This park has no concept of what "customer service" means. Add rude, inconsiderate staff to the excessive prices, long lines for lame rides, and terrible food and you have all the makings of memoriiers that will last a life time. Even free tickets would be to great a price to pay for my return. San Antonio is a great city to visit but don't waste your money at six flags. A far better value ($ and entertainment) can be had at Sea World.
- Pros: Rockville High show
- Cons: Everything else - service, rides, employees, service, parking, lines, food, cost, did I mention service?
SIX FLAGS
by rch2152
went to alot of six flags around the U.S. san antonio one is ok, not great but not bad in same time, they don't have that many wrolkoster but all in all it is good to have a six flags, just advice the best six flags is in New Jerseay, it is the BEST!!!!!!
For live entertainment, thrilling rides and a great suntan, this theme park tops the list.

The Appeal
Its location in an old limestone quarry sets it apart from other Six Flags parks and puts guests in another world surrounded by 100-foot rock walls. Crowds of teenagers wait in line for thrill rides while families make their way over to rides like Yosemite Sam's Wacky Wagon and Taz's Tornedo.
Facts and Figures
The park is divided into five different areas--Crackaxle Canyon, Los Festivales, Spassburg, Rockville, and the Boardwalk--each featuring shows, attractions, food and rides based on the area's theme. The Superman Krypton Coaster climbs almost 16 stories then drops just as far at 70mph. For a walk on the softer (and cooler) side, take a seat in one of the theaters to enjoy an award-winning show. Or, take a dip in the one million-gallon wave pool and the Lone Star Lagoon.
Fun for All!

This theme park is awesome. Great for the young and old. My son and husband ride all the rides while my mother and I walk around sight seeing and shopping. The burgers are Pete's Eats are wonderful. Kinda expensive but worth it. The night show at this park is beautiful. I love this park being built surrounding a cayon wall. Ten times better than Sea World which is too much walking because it is spread out.
- Pros: Scenery, Great shows, Clean restrooms
- Cons: Expensive food, shops, Park benches few, Long lines for rides

This venue definitely provides something for everyone. The idea that surrounds offering different regions of the world to visitors was unique and spirited. I definitely enjoy it every time I visit.
- Pros: Great Shows, Rides
- Cons: Heat in summer, Uncovered parking

What a waste of time!

My husband and I went there this past weekend (5/18/02). We didn't expect a large crowd as school is not out yet and "summer vacations" haven't really started. We were horrified to find that a middle school from all over Texas was at the park that day. It was literally swarming with people. The food was poor and expensive, get a $10 discount (per ticket) from the Visitors Center across from the Alamo. We watched the Rockville Show, but were disappointed at the quality.
- Pros: Lots of rides
- Cons: Crowded, Expensive, Poor show quality
