Dr. Gurwitz has a great staff, not once have they been rude to me, not once have I felt like I was an iterruption in their schedule, my calls have always been returned promptly and I've been able to get in to see Dr. Gurwitz within a timely manner. He and his staff have treated me with the upmost respect and with kids gloves... they seem to be and are geniunely compassionate towards me, what I've endured with other doctors and tests, and with the pain I'm experiencing. I drive all the way from the Sea World area, to the Hardy Oak office, which is a good 30 minute drive w/out traffic, but he and his staff are worth it Dr. Gurwitz doesn't just jump in and say "okay, you need surgery", he makes sure that all the tests are ran and if need me a second opinion is done, I truly believe he is making sure that what ever avenue he and I decide to take, he's doing it for the sake of my health.... I LOVE PATSY! if someone refers you to Dr. Gurwitz, go for it....
Pros: on time, won't just jump into doing surgery considers any and all other options first
Cons: NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH DR. GURWITZ & HIS STAFF

Well, when you want to see a good doctor, it starts with the staff personnel. If you don't have success with them, what makes you want to even see the doctors. I spoke to one staff member that was so rude. She didn't even have the sense to put me on hold before mocking me. I heard her in the back ground. Then when confronted, she rudely put me on hold and passed me off to someone else. I found San Antonio Orthopaedic Group to much more friendlier and pleasant.
Cons: rude staff, unreturned phone call
