Service is horrible, lunch or dinner, doesn't matter. Their servers are inconsiderate and could care less about the customers. I've been there 6 times with different people, it was HORRIBLE every time. Onece the waiter was back in the little alcove adding up his tips while our table's food was sitting in the window(the little area where the cooks put the food for the server to pick up) for half an hour getting cold. He didn't even bother to come back and see if everything was okay. I guess he knew it wasn't. One other time, we were seated and the server forgot about us, no drinks, just left us with a menu. We waited a long time, probably 15-20 minutes for someone to come take our order, then we left. Third time, the waiter was barely civil to my friends, guess he didn't like Hispanics. They were middle age buisnessmen, not teenagers. Fourth time, I ate there with a girlfriend. Server finally came to take our order. We never did get refills on our drinks. Fifth time, food was cold when it was served. Waiter finally brought check after we went to the bar to ask for it to be brought out. Sixth time, waited for server to come take order. This time we waited exactly 15 minutes, then we left.
Pros: None
Cons: Service is horrible

We chose to go there for dinner because it was a microbrewery. Oddly, this brew-pub was family-oriented with lots of kids. When we arrived, there was a short wait so we went to the bar and tried some beer. The pale ale wasn't as smooth as the blonde ale. We didn't try any other beers, but got a pitcher of blonde instead. When we were seated, my partner-in-crime ordered the fried shrimp platter which was acceptable, but not anything to write home about. Instead of the salad, he also opted for the tomato florentine soup which was decent. I had the fried combo basket of 2 shrimp, 4 oysters, and 1 fish which was typical. I also had the garlic mashed potatoes which had a hint of garlic. My other side was coleslaw which they could've bought from Church's Chicken or Long John Silver. I ordered a salad which did not get served to me until after I got the combo basket. The waiter was friendly, but got super busy toward the end of our dinner. It took about 30 minutes to get change for $10 to leave a tip. Overall, I would recommend Padre Brewing Co. if you like to explore brew-pubs. The food though was not remarkable. Maybe we should have tried the burgers or pizza.
Pros: Microbrewery on the Island
Cons: Food unremarkable

Discovered this place a few years ago and it's been a staple of my visits since. Food is well--priced and decent, beers are good and selection changes every now and again. Friendly service, casual atmosphere. Fun to spend an afternoon drinking beer and playing NTN Trivia over there. The pizzas are good, and another nice thing is they are one of the restaurants that lets you bring in fish you have caught yourself and they'll prepare it however you like.
