User Reviews for Saccone's Pizza

This is my family's favorite place for pizza. (I think this is now the Round Rock location?) This is the type of pizza I grew up eating in the North east - the dough is great and not too thick.

Pros: Great pizza

Cons: Fixed booths

Without a doubt the best pizza I've had in town. Very consistent, very east coat. I haven'd tried their pasta dishes because I can't pass up the pizza or calzones. One minor complaint would be that the bread for the sandwiches is very airy, not enough texture. I highly recommend any one of their locations.

I wouldn't say Saccone's was the BEST pizza I have ever had, but I will definitely stop by Saccone's again. The Pizza was good(and HUGE), the service was quick and friendly. I would recommend this to a friend.

Entered this location and wasn't even greeted... these guys acted like they were doing ME a favor by waiting on me. The pizza was way below average. Liked Frank & Angies much better downtown for this type of ultimate thin pizza & much better service!

Pros: Selective menu

Cons: pizza, service

Ordered a few pizza's and some wings at this location... wings were just ok and the same for the pizza. New Jersey style pizza must be extra thin, cause this sure was. Kind of hard to fill up on it... we're from Chicago where you pile on the cheese and the toppings... not going to find that here but the sauce was tasty and it was still better than Mangias in my opinion. $36 for 2 pizza's doesn't come cheap. Rudino's on 620 is the best we've had in Austin thus far.

Pros: Cute little location, sauce was good

Cons: Very thin pizza, prices a bit high for such thin pizza,

Try their pizza or any of their sandwiches, you won't be disappointed. Even their hot dogs are great.

My wife and I are trying to find the best pizza in town, and we may have found it on the outskirts... THe hand-made crusts, quality ingredients and top-notch cannoli make this a meal worth the drive.

Pros: Neighborhood pizza joint style, flavor

Cons: fairly long drive to the Lakeline area

Saconnes has always been consistant for good pizza. It is original and yummy. One a scale of 1-10 for atmosphere, be prepared for a 4! It is clean and there are several tv's for sports watching. There is just no fluff! The wings, salads stromboli is good stuff too! If your in the area and ready for original pizza it is worth the stop!

Pros: Yummy Original Pizza

Cons: Don't get dressed up!

I am not a big pizza fan, will at times orded from Pizza Hut for a so so home delivered pizza. I do not live close enough to Saccones's for home delivery. I am form the South, some friends I work with took me to Saccones' about a year ago, the slices I had were great, I don't know why but I keep going back for 2 or 3 slices each week, most of the time I get really good slices, at other times it has been below par so they have their ups and downs. Service is always pleasent but those in the back mostly young men seems to play alot, I guess they enjoy their work (ha). Atmosphere is mall and drap butif you have a unusual licence plate give it to them they will hang it. Haven't tried any of their other food, I took my wife and she tried another item, she didn't like it and hasn't gone back. I still don't know why I go back it must be the pizza!

Pros: I don't know why but I like the pizza!

Cons: small, hard to get to, small parking lot

This place serves the best pizza I've had in Austin. The location is a bit of a hassle. The fact that they only serve one size of pizza - very large - is a drag when I don't have anyone to share it with. But the taste makes up for those things.

Pros: great pizza

Cons: location, one size of pizza

Editor's Review

This unassuming joint serves up serious slices of New Jersey pizza.  See the full editorial review.
