Don't expect much from Emily Morgan's. "Location" perfect! The Alamo and River Walk are within crawling distance. Comp parking as a guess saves you a few bucks also, but when it comes to the "Over Stated" menu...seek breakfast else where. We ordered Smoked Salmon/bagels for breakfast on Wednesday and were told we couldn't have it until Saturday. We ordered "Petite Rib Eye" and it wasn't available either. I asked the waiter if I were to return on Saturday for Salmon/Bagels would he assure me that it would be available? "Yes" it will. Guess what... I returned bright and early at opening on Sat am and low and behold...NO BAGELS! How in the heck does one run out of bagels to go with a "signature dish" The waitress then said...we have other bread available. The sour milk that was served to my grandson was the final straw. So I thought!!! AFTER BEING IDENTIFED AS SOUR, IT WAS SERVED TO ANOTHER FAMILY!!! WHO'S RUNNING THIS JOINT"? The dirty bathrooms down stairs, popular items not available throughout the week AND weekends on the menu seems to be a little much. I dealt with the screaming throughtout the day at the pool, but when it comes to "todays" economy, and where to spend money, Emily Morgan will be "Kicked to the Curb" Let's be fair here. The Chef "Marv", and waiter Raffel, are above reproach. The day shift guy named Joseph should be commended also. The Tuna dinner and chicken pasta are 5 star quality by anyones standard. If you where to order just that and leave, you would be impressed. Please put your hard earned funds else where and avoid this location completley.…
The Worst Hotel Stay Ever!.
Honestly could not believe that this hotel was given so many stars. I knew it was not going to start off well when we arrived at 3:45 pm to check in and myself and numerous others were told our
rooms were not yet ready. (Check in was suppose to be at 3:00 pm or after.) Exhausted from traveling, we had to find something to do for nearly an hour.
The next day we left and came back at 1:00 pm, they had not yet cleaned the room and when we asked, they said we could do a 'light service' which apparently means throwing out trash and giving us more towels. Nothing at all was cleaned--boy was this hotel understaffed.
The coup de gras--the fire alarm went off at 1:00 am and it took us an hour and a half to get back into our rooms. No apologies from this hotel--nothing. Why did the alarm go off? A rain storm about a week ago messed up with a lot of their systems..... Yikes! I had no clue that a few inches of rain could put that much havoc on a building?
When I called to speak with the manager, they left me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Oh and don't try emailing because the GM doesn't respond either. This hotel gives independent hotels a bad name.
Two good notes: the bellman, Johnny, was exceptional and the pool/hot tub area were relaxing.
Traveler Beware: I STRONGLY encourage you pick another place to stay!…
Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

Not worth the price. I was so excited for my weekend at the Emily Morgan. I chose this hotel specifically for the room with the jacuzzi bathtub and view. I called after I made the reservation to make sure that I was going to get the room I requested and the woman confirmed it. When I got to my room, I was on the 3rd floor. I immidately went to the bathroom to check out the view from the tub and much to my diappointment, the glass was frosted over for obvious reasons. That night when I got into bed, there were holes in my bed sheets on one side though the bed was comfortable. The next morning when I went to take a shower, there was hair all over the tub. I was very disappointed. I would have rather had a cheaper, smaller room then a big dirty one. When I completed the review the hotel sent me after my stay, I let them know about my diappointments. The hotel manager called and left me a message and that was over a week ago. I have called and left messages for him to call me back but to no avail. If you arent satisfied with your stay, dont expect them to try and keep your business.…
A lodging staple for budget-minded road-trippers and business travelers..
In Short
Since the Ramada brand made its debut in 1954 in Flagstaff, Ariz., the hotel franchise has been offering dependable accommodations with budget-wise perks. Families appreciate the
kids-stay-free policy for children 17 and under staying with their parents. Other amenities usually include a swimming pool, full-service restaurant, lounge, in-room data ports and voice mail. Group rates--for wedding parties, corporate groups or family reunions--are available for parties requiring 10 or more rooms per night.…
Beautiful Hotel. I've stayed at The Emily Morgan Hotel several times and have always been pleased with all the ammenities provided and the service I received. The rooms are HUGE and the location is perfect. You can walk to everything. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in San Antonio for business or pleasure!…
This hotel rocks!!!. My husband and I traveled to San Antonio to participate in the half marathon this past weekend and we were sooooo happy we stayed at the Emily Morgan. Their beds are incredibly comfortable! Also, the shower heads and water pressure are perfect after a hard workout. It is a superb location if you plan to spend time at the Alamo, the Riverwalk or even the Convention Center. The staff is very friendly and we were given great recommendations over and over again about where to eat in downtown San Antonio (in order to avoid tourist traps). Plus, they were wonderful to our two doggies. This hotel is beautiful, classy, and lacks any sort of snobby attitude that you might run in to at other upscale hotels. We'll definitely be back.…
Michelle. The room was sooooo unbelievably small. I also had a horrible view of the parking lot and other side of the city. Also, I specifically wanted a hotel with a business center. When I arrived I needed to use it right away. I asked for the "business center", and they directed me to a desk in the middle of the lobby with a computer and printer. This was their business center. To make it worse was the monitor was facing the street. So please don't do anything confidential in their "business center". Ridiculous for the price!…
Did not meet expectations. Wife and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary and stayed at the Emily Morgan. We called a month ahead to reserve a room with a king bed, jacuzzi, and Alamo view. The woman on the phone kept trying to sell us a room with 2 full sized beds. When we arrived we were booked a room with 2 full sized beds. They apologized for the "mis-communication" and discounted us $50 per night. We felt cheated and ended up sleeping in a full sized bed (we have a queen at home) for our anniversary!! There were no bathrobes in the room, we called the front desk and were told there weren't any available!! The hotel has a cozy charm and is near the Rivercenter, riverwalk, and Alamo. For its location, and amenities, the Emily Morgan offers great value, but hit or miss service. Worth a try, but were not going back.…
