I've been searching for a family doctor in the Stone Oak area for some time. Dr. Ramirez and staff were all pleasant, professional and punctual. I was able to get an appointment the next day for my sons and they too were very pleased with the visit. One of the most common and unprofessional occurances in many doctors offices is to have to sit in a waiting room for a rediculous amount of time. Dr. Ramirez was busy, as I would expect a good doctor to be, but our wait was short and he took ample time with us. How refreshing to not spend half a day "waiting" when visiting a doctor. I have already recommended him to my mother, so it doesn' get much better than that.

I've been seeing Dr. Ramirez for seven years. I have always found him to be a very compassionate, caring and understanding man. I would recommend (and I have) Dr. Ramirez to anyone seeking an excellent Doctor. The office has always been immediate in answering my questions and they are quick to schedule appointments for any and every emergency. Dr. Ramirez is the only MD I have seen in San Antonio and I am very thankful that I found his office when I moved to San Antonio. Barbie Hill, San Antonio, TX

WONDERFUL DOCTOR! I was extremely impressed with Dr. Ramirez & his staff. I'd heard again & again that Dr. Ramirez was one of the most respected family physicians in Stone Oak & was not disappointed. His office is in a super convenient location off Stone Oak Parkway, I got an appointment to see him within days, & he spent an inordinate amount of time with me. He has an exceptional bed side manner & went above & beyond in discussing my condition & preventative messures. I felt like I was listened to & will absolutely go back & refer everyone to him. I read that other review, & think that patient might have caught his office on a bad day. Yes, he's busy- but his office was calm & on time. I'd expect him to be busy if he's one of the best. This office is so busy that each time I went, I felt like everything was rushed. Dr. Ramirez is nice, but he did not ever make me feel like he actually cared. He would finish my examination in about 5 minutes, leave and come back & leave again, then come back and tell me a short, cookie cutter explanation & be done. I want a doctor who CARES and will take the TIME to listen to me with UNDIVIDED Attention. This one was always too rushed!
