Best Florist Around Town

Whenever I need flowers for my daughter's dances and proms I always go to Connie . She makes the most beautiful boutonnieres with fresh roses,beautiful colors in roses and ribbon and always adds an extra sparkle making it extraordinary. The pictures always look beautiful and the flowers always complement the attire worn beautifully. See you soon ....she has another prom in a few weeks...Thanks!

Worst First Impression Ever

I visited It's All About Flowers today and had a horrible experience. I had just finished another wedding appointment and wanted to stop in since it was literally right down the road. I did not have an appointment but wanted to pop in to see if someone was available to talk with about options and set up an appointment for a later date. There were no other customers in the store and they seemed more than willing to help me out. I think the turning point happened when she learned I had already taken care of decorations and table arrangements with my linen provider/ decorator and only need bouquets and bootineers. Maybe she just saw a young couple and judged us badly early on but from then on my fiance and I were treated with disdain and annoyance. I explained to the representative that I didn't want a busy bouquet and that our wedding "theme" was simple but elegant. She responded, "Many brides come in saying they want simple, thinking that means cheap but you need to know that isn't the case" in a very catty insulting tone. I could not believe that she had just implied I was cheap. I did not stay long after that. Had they been friendlier and more helpful I would have definitely set up a formal appointment, or most likely have signed a contract and put the down payment down on the spot. I will not be returning or using their services.

Beautiful flowers

Connie donated a large bouquet of flowers to be presented to our Sugar Plum Fairy at each performance of Nutcracker at the Majestic Theatre. They included fresh, gorgeous red roses (glittery, too!) and the presentation was beautiful. Everyone was able to enjoy their beauty, on-stage and off!

Arrangement - tulips

In response to denise girl review, i would like to say that the arrangement she is referring to was an order for tulips arranged in a vase. She had seen the same arrangement already in my cooler and said she wanted it to look like that one. Tulips look very nice all by themselves . There were 15 tulips to the arrangement and i sell them arranged like that all the time. The vase was appropriate for the tulips, not for any more filler and it finished with a very pretty bow on the vase. The vase was a clear garden style vase, 9 inches tall, appropriate for the tulips..I am sorry she was disappointed.But she had already seen what it was going to look like.

Not what I expected

I went in person to order a floral arrangement about 5 days before it was needed. There was a similar type arrangement in the cooler so I knew sort of what to expect. I was told there would be extra filling put in mine. When I came to pick it up, it was not very impressive looking at all. The vase was way too tall and narrow mouthed for the arrangement so the flowers looked cramped and stood tall instead of relaxed in the vase. There was no filler used and I was told that when she tried it, it didn't look nice so she left it out. I expressed my disappointment and told her that I found similar flowers at HEB for only $10.

She offered to give me my money back and I would have accepted that if I had not been too busy to make my own arrangement at the last minute. I asked her to put in some filler because it looked so plain. She did and it helped some.

Im not impressed with the way they do flowers. She knew the vase was not the right size and offered to sell me a crystal vase. I feel it was her duty to provide the right size vase in the first place. Cost of the arrangement was $50.

I won't be using this florist again.

The best place for all your floral needs!!

Connie was fabulous. We had quick wedding plans, and she came through for me when everyone else I called told me they couldn't accommodate the short notice. My bouquet was breathtaking. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I will continue to use It's All About Flowers for all my floral needs from here forward. Thanks, Connie and Bea!

A Place for all Oassions

I was running late and had not gotten a present for my sister's birthday.I stopped at IAAF to get flowers and candles. They were closed but the ladies were still inside. They came out and asked me what I needed.Connie and Bea saved me.They made me a beautiful floral arrangement.

Unique, Fast and didn't break the bank

My sister was getting married in a week and no brides table arrangement had been ordered. In a panic I stopped by the shop which is literally around the corner. I didn't have the center piece but I explained the theme, what I was looking for, and colors. I usually have a good gut instinct about people and trust it. I did here at IAAF and I'm so glad I did. They made my vision a reality without ever having seen a picture, photo or anything. My sister was floored that it matched the decor so well and was relatively inexpensive. Thanks AGAIN!

Dependability with class and quality

If you're looking for a florist to do something special and not break the bank try IAAF. Connie and Bea are ready and willing to go overboard to work with you and fulfill all your needs and dreams. We were fortunate to be recommended to them for our daugher's wedding and it was outstanding. Guests raved about the bouquets, church arrangements and reception decor and the best part was they were on hand before and during to set everything in place and help where needed making everything perfect. Their little personal touches mean so much and are truly appreciated. Our family has used them for other occasions and are always pleased and feel comfortable recommending them to others who are in need of a full service florist. I recently used them for a 50th class reunion and again they didn't disappoint. Not only have Connie and Bea become my personal florists I consider them my good friends. Give them a try you will be thrilled with their quality in flowers, classy business savvy and well-known dependability.
