Best drinks, Best atmosphere

Definately the place for making business connections. The bar is small, but the atmosphere and drinks are just what the busy executive needs at the end of a long day. Before you know it, you'll have spent a couple of hours enjoying drinks and conversation. A definate favorite.

Could be better

Not much service, great looking place, loud DJ music, nothing live, lots of people. Made this place several times. Had to go to the bar to get my drinks. The music was so loud you could not talk. They could use an investment in some live entertainment designed for people to be able to communicate.

Best bar service and atmosphere

With the beaded curtains and hip atmosphere, there isn't a better bar in SA. The service was excellent and the knowledge of the bar staff was unbelievable. The crowd and music were perfect, not to mention the art displayed throughout the bar. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return!!

Chic Lounge

This place has a very sleek and fashionable feel with good tunes, videos and attitude. Not for the beer swigger - more for the well dressed party crowd. Rare find in SA.

The Scene
Rippled rock walls, silvery curtains made of beads and couches covered in silk pillows are just a small sample of this bar's jarring beauty. Everywhere you look, there are handsome people who fit right in with the decor. Located on the second floor of the dark, mysterious Hotel Valencia, the space is divided into several large rooms, allowing multiple opportunities for dramatic entrances. Well-dressed singles mingle at the main bar, while couples enjoy the large balcony overlooking the riverwalk.

The Draw
The air is charged with the scent of successful men and women on the hunt. Or maybe it's just the smell of clean air: V is a non-smoking bar. The sprawling layout encourages roaming about and meeting new people. Guys can go casual but definitely not sloppy. Although it's a fashion-conscious crowd, it's not an uptight clique.
