Whether you like italian food or not, you will love this place!!!!! The Food is to die for, and the service rocks. i have never waited for some one to come to my table, by the time i sit, the waitress is already there with a basket of fresh baked bread, and ready to take a drink order. they have a great selection of wine. The prices are decent for the amount of food you get. I always take something home. They have a specials board with some of the most delicious entrees in the world. Go ahead and try it. I guarantee you wont regret it.
- Pros: THE FOOD!!!!!!
- Cons: Is there one??
Best Italian food for any price

There's Northern Italian cooking and there's Southern Italian, also called Sicilian. Mostly, Sicilian cooking is where you will find the marinara sauce (red spagetthi sauce). This is the type of cooking served in the New York area. The Italian Garden Cafe menu is pretty complete and includes the sausage and meatballs with pasta, or chicken and seafood entrees with marinara or white sauce (linguine). Pastas include angel hair, spagheiit and penne. The pizza is generous and very tasty. An anti-pasta salad is too large if you plan on finishing your main meal, so have the small salad. Prices are unbelievably reasonable. For example; the anti-pasta salad (small) is four dollars. A plate of spaghetti is six dollars; add two dollars for sausage or meatballs. The chicken and seafood entrees are reasonably priced. There's an assortment of wines and beers. The service is good. Pasta is cooked to order. I eat here weekly and worth the sixty mile drive. The decor is quaint and very Italian. There's linen napkins and did I forget the baked on premises bread. Bring kids. You know how they love spaghetti and pizza. There's ample parking, but beware that it's crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Try to get there before 6:30 to beat the lake crowd.
- Pros: Great Sicilian Italian food, including a hearty pizza.
- Cons: It can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
