i wouldnt go anywhere else after going to the skin institute. they were totally professional and made me feel very comfortable in a somewhat akward situation (brazillian).. and i agree.. see miss julie b!!!

I walked into The Skin Institute for the first time today. I made the decision to finally get my spider veins fixed before summer(Laser Vein treatment). It was a wonderful, beginning from the moment I stepped in the door. The receptionist was warm and friendly. The atmosphere soothing and warm, not clinical. The staff was thorough in getting a complete history. This is not the kind of establishment that herds people through their doors for a quick buck. I am looking forward to my next treatment and will definitely look into more of their treatments.

This is the best place in San Antonio to get a brazillian wax!! The ladies at this place are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. The office is very relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a brazillian wax done because you feel comfortable, it is reasonably priced, and the ladies are so nice. Ask for Julie Boyer, she is very knowledgable on hair removal, easy going, and does a great job.

What a great way to start the day. I had the best facial I can remember having. The neck, face and chest massage were an added bonus. Fantastic. Highly recommend a facial with Julie!!

The atmosphere is heavenly and my experience during my one hour micro-abrasion session was awesome. The skin specialist took the time before and after treatment to explain the procedure and how it would feel. I felt very comfortable and relax during the entire session. I notice a huge difference following my skin treatment and follow their advice on the numerous skin treatment and products. Would recommend this place to everyone. Dr. Bertoldo and staff are the most professional and well train in my experience.

I went in for my standard eyebrow wax today which of course was awesome! But I got about 5 invitations for their big event this Thursday - you get 40% off services and 20% off prodcuts (which included injectables!) Hello pouty lips I've always wwanted! Check it, give them a call, Emily said just to stop by! Sweet, totally going.

Pros: easy to get an appointment, honest staff, affordable products

Cons: rush hour traffic around stone oak

My girlfriend got me talked into getting my chest waxed after she'd been in for a bikini wax with Julie. Apparently Rachelle has moved to a salon in San Marcos (which was who'd ripped out my wax hair the last time) so I was a little iffy feeling about it. All fears set aside: Julie is remarkable! Of course I had my lovely girlfriend holding my hand like a baby. Julie did a great job, and I definitely LOVE the work she does on my gf (if you know what I mean) She also hooked me up wtih a mild cleanser to help with some acne issues. This place is at the top of my list! Thanks Jules :-)

I had a facial, botox, and juvederm here in early January. Unbelievably pleased with the botox and facial results. The juvederm is very natural and I am very happy with the results. Just remember to give the juvederm a few days to calm down (I looked like a freak-duck for a little bit!). Overall, very nice, great service, and happy with my results.

The place is very pretty but the staff is not constant since they have had staff changes. Was much better and more professional with the original staff. I came with a friend of mine who had treatment sometime last year. She thought she would be repeating the same positive experience she had before. She had Botox for the first time last year but the person doing her Botox was not here any longer. It was not a good experience this time. She will not be coming back and I will not be coming back. I will not recommend any of my friends to come here either. I wish I knew where everyone went.

Cons: inconsistent service

I wish i would of searched around more before I got botox here. I feel permantly scared and will not be getting it again from this place
